NFL Preseason Game Moved for Obama's Acceptance Speech

WE'VE MOVED! Democratic Convention Watch is now at http://www.DemocraticConventionWatch.com

We've talked about the Republican Convention causing a change to NFL Season Opener. Now the Democratic National Convention has caused the NFL to make another change.

The game between the Green Bay Packers and the Tennesee Titans will begin 1 hour earlier.

The game time for the preseason finale between the Packers and the Tennessee Titans at Lambeau Field on Thursday, August 28, has been moved up one hour, to 6:00 p.m. CDT.

Packers spokesman Jeff Blumb said the change was a result of both teams’ TV partners approaching their respective clubs and expressing an interest in joining network coverage of the Democratic National Convention as close to nine o’clock as possible. - Titans Online
There are 12 other preseason games scheduled that night (all times Eastern).
NY Jets at Philadelphia 6:30 PM
Detroit at Buffalo 6:30 PM
Tennessee at Green Bay 7:00 PM
Cincinnati at Indianapolis 7:00 PM
New England at NY Giants 7:00 PM
Jacksonville at Washington 7:00 PM
Atlanta at Baltimore 7:30 PM
Carolina at Pittsburgh 7:30 PM
Chicago at Cleveland 7:30 PM
Minnesota at Dallas 8:00 PM
Miami at New Orleans 8:00 PM
St. Louis at Kansas City 8:00 PM
Tampa Bay at Houston 8:00 PM

There are 4 other games that start the same time the Packers/Titans game was originally scheduled. Will the other local stations also request that their game be moved?
Green Bay is in a state won by Democrats in 2004 while the other 4 games all take place in states won by the GOP in 2004.

Maybe we'll see more schedule changes in the coming days and weeks.

Who watches preseason games beyond the first quarter anyway?
